GT gave JawJa a hard time and usually does but I feel LSU can beat GT. I don't think we will throw two pick sixes so again I like our chances.
It's official: LSU vs. #15 Georgia Tech in the Chic-Fil-A Bowl I'm actually excited about this game. LSU has a lot to prove and if we can do it against a top 15 team that will help boost this team into the off-season. Predictions? :geaux:
Re: It's official: LSU vs. #15 Georgia Tech in the Chic-Fil-A Bowl We have to shut their run game down and force them to throw... they had 19 passing yards in 6 attempts against UGA, but ran for over 400 yards.
Re: It's official: LSU vs. #15 Georgia Tech in the Chic-Fil-A Bowl I wonder if thats good or bad? Troy had what 250 yards passing in the first half against us? We have a better chance at stopping the run than the air attack IMO.
I think this is much better than playing Texas Tech or another spread offense. However, that being said they are a good team and have a good offense. The extra time to get ready for the triple option is an advantage for us since we don't normally see it that much. I think Georgia Tech is a better team than most people give them credit for and they will be tough to beat. It wasn't a fluke that they beat Georgia and we will be underdogs. I'm anxious to see if Jordan Jefferson can show any progress at QB.
I think the best thing about our bowl this year is that it allows the team to have three extra weeks of practice. No bowl, no practice. And an extra game to look at the "new" talent will be welcome, too. :geaux:
