yah, i miss out on all kinds of cool discussions because people like moving things to other areas of the forum. i say if it's LSU-related, keep it in the 'den. but i digress. :thumb:
I agree (have a daughter myself). I can tell you, having been in the Atlanta area for 4 years now, there is a problem on the UGA campus with a perceived "lawlessness". Most of these "crimes" involve under-age drinking of players, players driving without a license, players driving with a suspended license, and then the Mettenberger bit. I think Zach's situation was a bit different in that it happened after all the other issues. He was the QB. He was suppossed to be the leader. I think Richt had to do it (similar to Miles with RP). And yes, I agree: There are 2 sides to every story and I think the kid should have received a wakeup call. His situation should have showed him he's not tephlon. I think he'll walk the straight and narrow. Oh. And I work with current UGA QB Aaron Murray's aunt (she's a huge LSU fan BTW--told me all through his recruiting process that she was pushing him to go to LSU) and she told me last week that she was told (I suspect by her nephew) that Zach was offered and accepted.... could be wrong, but I'm assuming she was told by Aaron
i'm gonna need photos of the girl in the attire she was wearing at the time of the incident before i make any judgements
You webel, you. Just sayin', there is a really nice thread in the recruiting forum on Roethles...er...Mettenberger. Lots of good info in it...been there a while.
But since we're here...what is the deal with QBs named #$(%&berger and groping the ladies? In Georgia? Weird.
