So you think we have a QB who can manage the game , for some reason think you are wrong , and somewhere deep inside I hope you are right . But if it were a bet I would bet YOU R WRONG A&M got a receiver out of New Orleans I have a feeling he wanted to have a chance to catch a few passes
LSU is loaded at WR like never before, who cares what A&M got. What I'm saying is don't write him off because he's slightly shorter than the ideal QB. This kid seems to have the very qualities that the coaching staff should have been looking for all along. A smart, proven winner much like a Drew Brees or Russell Wilson. He may not turn out to be anything but a bench warmer, but we've been starting bench warmers for years. Nothing wrong with giving the kid a shot and it's not like better candidates are lined up outside Miles office either. Suit him up and see if he can play.
If the kid is as smart as it appears he is, he could be the savior. I am so sick and tired of the tv shot of a qb, wearing purple and gold, looking over at the sidelines with the stunned mullet look.
AKA MeerKat Offense. I will take 5'11" and something between the ears over 6'4" and no idea how to read a defense any day. I agree with what has been said before suit him up and lets see what you got.
the check with me is the coaching staff confused as usual. the qbs are fine before they start depending on the coaching staff who are lost as fuck. which permeates to the qb and entire offense after 4 or 5 games. its not the qb. its the fucking coaches. starting with the one most confused with clocks as they tick down. you see it 60 plus times a game in short order as the other clock ticks down. the play clock.
Good point. He can't be any worse than what we have seen from 08-2011 and 2014 and 2015. Worse would be a guy who completes passes 40 percent of the time, throws 3 touchdowns in 1 season, for under 1400 yards. Jordan Jefferson's 2010 season was probably one of the worst seasons a QB at LSU has ever had. 4 touchdowns and 1400 yards. He threw 3 touchdowns in the bowl game to make his season total 7. Jesus it just doesn't get any worse than that. And I think Jennings had a completion percentage of like 48 percent in 2013. It doesn't get much worse than that either. I can't remember a team except maybe the Cleveland Browns who are more starved for a quarterback.
