An option offense doesn't rely on a QB running the ball... It relies on the threat of a QB running the ball. This is why LSU QBs break an occasional long run... No one is actually keying on the QB threat.
So, Harvard is essentially saying, go for your athletic dreams first, and if it doesn't work out, you can transfer here for you academic dreams (and still play football). Wow. Smart of him to line up that back up plan, too. CLM and CCC are telling him a lot of things right now, I'm sure, but once you're there on the team, you have no control or recourse.
