You need to do a little more looking into what went on at UL.

Yep, its easier for one guy to learn an offense than over 30 trying to learn yours.

Anyone remember the Wr bunch formation, wide open TE? They never did stop it.........

Who knows what it will be like, but to hear JJ talk about the offense, we'll be throwing a lot more on first and second downs. If we do, it'll likely be a better situation for him...since the last couple years, we ran on first and second, and then threw on 3rd and long.

Well, that will be the best way to get the defense off the line stuffing the run. If we throw on 1st and 2nd, and are successful, the run will open up and we will be pounding teams.

I just watched the ESPN video about Ala/LSU being the favorites in sec west and that BOTH have questions at QB. I find it just amazing that with us going into the year with the same qb that has had the job the last 2 years that we STILL have that question mark. We know the reason why the bubbas have it is because their QB graduated. No question, IMHO, that speaks volumes as to "what could have been" if we would have just had average QB play the last 2 years.

But....sports talk radio has us finishing 4th in the west behind State. :dis:

It sucks that we still have so many QB question marks with 2 seniors, but it is what it is. IMO we have more and better options at that position than Bama does.

Yea, I agree that it is what it is...just thinking we may have been in contention for at least one of last 2 BCS championships if not for bad QB play and coaching (for a large part). No reason to be at the bottom nationally offensively when we have top talent/recruiting year after year. No question though, CGC deserves a lot of the blame. Want to think JJ puts it all together with new coaching, especially with the decision making and speed of the game.
I"m really excited about this year because it seems we have crazy talent and recruited to fill our needs. In past years it always seemed the excitement came from the abundance of highly regarded RB, WR and Athletes. I loved what we got for the offensive and defensive lines this last year.
