I actually hope our punter has limited time on the field. :tigereye:

There is a big flaw in comparing Newton to TR. Newton ran on us when he tucked the ball and sprinted out of the pocket. The defenders were spread out and down the field. Not the case when you are lining up your typical run defense for a tailback.

    Excellent point.

What is the most effective way to defend this play? Would it work if one of our defenders essentially is a "spy" to solely cover Richardson?

Maybe, maybe not. It usually takes more than one tackler to take TR down. I believe Les Miles said it best, "We'll need to tackle their guy with a pack of yellow helmets," or something to that effect.

I watched video of TR getting stuffed at the line ... charge 'em at the point of attack and trust our backers to get it done ... The safeties can keep TR from any long gains

Lacey is hurtin ... this is big "hush hush" ... no one's talking about it!

TR in the red zone is good for FGs all night for Bama ... If they even get to our red zone ... Maybe twice if they're lucky ... The rest is long FGs for Bama ...

LSU ... Beating their azzes with near 40

    Tide 13 ...

The base offense for bama is 2 TE's. 2 WR's, and 1 Back, look for LSU to use a more base defense. Down and distance will make the changes. Also if LSU's up by 3 TD's, bama will have to pass more, so nickel and dime packages will be used........

When LSU is up by 2 TDs in the 2nd quarter, I look for Bama to start taking huge chances ...

Buzzards circling ... McCarrion throwing picks ... Saban going berserk on the sidelines ... The wheels coming off the Bama "hyped-up wagon"
