Lines have been updated. LSU is now a 1.5 pt underdog to UNC... It originally opened at LSU -1.5 So there must have been a TON of money put on UNC... But on iodds it has 62% of the money going on LSU getting points now. The under 39.5 is getting some heavy play as well. Which seems logical.
I like it. Something tells me last year's almost comedic offensive ineptness has folks sleeping on LSU's talent level. I don't bet on LSU, ever, but if I were to - I'd bet on this game if UNC is the favorite.
I dont bet LSU either. But I really like the under in this game. Offenses are always a little behind the defense in the first game, plus tack on both have ?s on offense and none on D. 40 points is pretty juicy....
Vegas knows what their doing. Given all the press on our possible decline, they are betting on the public buying it hook line and sinker. Good keep it up. Vegas will be the winner in this one.
Pretty much all the odds makers. I am known to wager from time to time ;-) So for entertainment purposes only I keep track of the lines (wink wink). I have an app on my iPad called iOdds (Its free) that is really neat that has all the odds and where money is going.
I'd prefer us as underdogs anyway. Makes it that much more enjoyable to see the looks on people's faces when they realize they lost that money.. lol
I think the fact that we are dogs now is laughable. It's funny to me. We are bigger, stronger, faster and deeper. Their offense is absolutely dreadful. LSU will win this game....and I'm saying that as a football fan....not as an LSU fan. Carry on....
