Just behind USC for 2nd. Helton got his rating and it was a 3 star as I suspected it would be. LSU now has a 3.83 average, which is 2nd only to USC (4.0). 1. OSU 2474 3.76 (25) 2. USC 2113 4.00 (15) 3. LSU 2075 3.83 (18) 4. Texas 2048 3.74 (19) LSU will finish at least 4.0 and probably better. LSU will end up with anywhere from 25 to 27 recruits. All out race to the finish between LSU and USC. Third place is just that, a fight for 3rd place.
Scout has us 5th behind Auburn, all of a sudden Auburn has the recruiting edge in the SEC. What gives?
They have maxed out at 25 recruits already, so they will be surpassed by LSU easily in the end. On rivals, 18 of them are 3 stars or less.
Auburn has a 3.2 star average, as classes start to fill up elsewhere they will tumble way down. But many of their 2 and 3 star kids will turn out to be studs, Tubby is really good at recruiting.
I think they had some 4* guys commit this last weekend. I'm glad to see that because I don't want to see them slip. Our game with them means too much to me each year. Guess its the sadist in me because I hate it and love it at the same time...
Doubt it. Quite an epic fail in recruiting this year and most Auburn fans know it. They went out early and had a different strategy but they beat out Troy for almost half our their recruits. Auburn slipping can only help us. Im all for it.
