Now it seems Arkansas will likely be ranked 5. So it makes them the 3rd top 5 team we will have to face. Idk how anyone else feels, but if we beat them and win the SEC title game, they should just go ahead and hand us the BCS title because it would have more then prove that we deserve it. Or we should get to choose who we play in the title game. Everyone in the media who has doubted LSU and coach Miles this year should all have to make a public apology to the team. lol Has there EVER been a schedule this tough? I mean good lord lol 3 of the top 5 teams in the country are from the SEC WEST. Might as well just line up the top 10 teams in the country and let LSU whip up on all of em.
Kind of makes you think that if LSU would beat Arky and Georgia, but then lose a rematch to Oregon or Alabama, that LSU would deserve the AP voters votes, and earn a split title.
You'd be wrong. No other team remotely comes close to playing the kind of schedule LSU has. It's not even debatable.
Deserving isn't the point. Holding the trophy when the game finishes, now that's EVERYTHING and the ONLY thing. Don't believe me? Just ask the 2007 Patriots.
I am starting to get a bad feeling about our title hopes. Is it too much to expect our guys to beat bama twice in the same year...with everything on the line? After all we have accomplished this season, a rematch with bama makes me nervous. Rubber matches are not easy.
