I'm not an expert either. Personally, I think we might as well get rid of them all since we're at 50/50 split now. It just seems like there is going to be residual left over from the previous coaches if some stayed while others left. Maybe that won't happen, but with the performance of the OL this year, and the lackluster output from Crowton's scheme, it can't hurt much to throw them out and find some other other willing participants.
I do think that our OL will be better by next year with more experience, and weight, under their belts. Also, with JJ as a junior with almost a full season of starts under his belt, I think he will improve.

Whoever we get, I hope the meerkat offense doesn't find its way into the playbook:thumb:

Once we quit taking almost thirty seconds to get in a running play, the line play improved drastically didn't it. There may have been something to someones opinion that the linemen being frozen in the set position for so long really hampered their ability to fire off on the ball.

Yes it did. That's way too long to only produce a run up the middle for two.

Forget the screen and forget the option, I was frustrated by trying to run, behind a shaky line, from the shotgun. By the time the back gets to the line, the hole has long closed and we seemed to do it over and over again with the same, marginal result. I also thank whomever for those stats. I do not watch a lot due to bad juju, but I have seen NOTHING like those averages from the games I have seen.

We did seem to improve by forgetting that idiotic change or call the play at the line, but we did not seem very nimble in making what appeared to be obvious poor choices. At some point that is in the lap of the OC. Bigtime.
