successful running is the key, not just running the ball.
we didnt have that? there's no stat you can skew to make that point.

And a large percentage of those passing plays might as well been running plays since they were screens. A concern I had with JJ most of the season was his inability to hit receivers in stride, although he would complete those passes many got busted up for a loss or very little gain.

how many of those were sacks that were recorded as running plays? And how many of those running plays were the stupid option?

ok so Jefferson has been sacked 35 times. So rushing plays are actually 419, and passing plays are 416, there is balance there, at least there is good balance, you are right.

Who is skewing a stat? LaSalle said that LSU threw passes 75% of the time, which is not true. The stats are correct.

That was a guess, and you proved me wrong. What i should have said was the formation that i see more than any other is the 5 wide empty.

You will receive your Christmas wish. It just might not be until after Christmas.

Legacy you think Crowton is gone or he stays? What would you do if you were Miles and who would you go after if a change is made?

Yes, I think Crowton, McCarthy, and Stud are all gone. A compete house cleaning may or may not be the best thing, but it is what I believe will happen. As for who I think Miles should get, my opinion won't matter much nor will anybody elses. We can speculate all day long as to who we want Miles to get, but as his track record has shown he will get someone that none of us think of.

Only reason i ask who you think it is, is because last year, it seemed to me like the vast majority of Tiger fans thought the DC hire would be Chavis, and viola.

Now i don't think Miles hired Chavis because the masses wanted that hire, but its odd that when the public wants something from Miles after the wheels fall off, he usually delivers.

BS... we have to run the ball to compete in the SEC. Florida AND BAMA(edit) did it all year. Running the ball controls the game. We don't have to put up crazy points when the defense holds teams to ~14pts a game.

How many of those 454 rush plays were actually pass plays where JJ scrambled or got sacked. A stupid amount.

-------------------- ATT YRDs YPC Long TDs
    Jordan Jefferson 104 160 1.5 26 1

    Charles Scott 116 542 4.7 34 4
    Keiland Williams 70 368 5.3 25 4 Not enough carries
    Russell Shepard 45 277 6.2 69 (TD) 2
