Don't think "dude" was an OC at all. If I remember correctly he was the O line coach at boston college? Maybe that was the other knuckle head we have on staff? Off with their heads, all of em.
No matter what things much improve at the top. But yeah, Im thinking we do need some serious changes in the staff.
Coach Stud was an Offensive Coordinator before he came here. As far as everything else, rumblings are now that only Porter (memphis job) and McCarthy (poor coaching and violations) are gone. Coach Stud and Crowton will still be here next year. This issue with Coach Stud seems to be the new blocking scheme was a problem and he didn't support it.
maybe he can call plays doesnt mean he can coach up lineman, however if what you are saying is true, then crowton (who doesn't seem to like to play to his team's strengths) is at fault if he is keeping a blocking scheme that isn't working. if i remember correctly that's the case. searles was a man blocking scheme guy, crowton wanted zone blocking, so searles left, but if coach stud was against it in the first place then why take the job?? i want everyone gone on offense (except porter but he is gone) except yanowsky. i think if miles values his job, he will do this. however, cleaning out some pos coaches while it may appease some, may just be a band aid for a bullet wound.
i agree, i just don't think Crow will go. You hit the nail on the head though, the problem with the offense is not using the personnel the way it should be used. Jordan Jefferson isn't a quarterback who is going to throw for 4000 yards a season, so why do we run 75% of our offense out of 5 wide and empty backfield.
Because we are loaded at receiver. Jefferson must be able to pass to compete in the SEC. Crowton will not be fired for incompetence, he knows his business. If he is gone then it's because Les wants a change.
We are loaded at receiver, you are correct, but its alot easier for a defense to stop you if they know you are throwing the ball 75% of the time. Jefferson isn't that guy. Jefferson would be so much more effective if LSU didn't just abandon the run game, he needs LSU's ground game to take pressure off of him.
 LSU has had a balanced offense all year but ran more than they passed. 454 rushing plays 381 passing plays
