    The most chilling part is the quote that says something like "It's not so important whether or not you achieve the goal...it's what you have become in pursuit of that goal."

    To me, that is the ultimate outcome of playing sports and watching sports...It's about living, it's about life, it's about becoming a better human and fulfilling God's will in your life.

    It has nothing at all to do with self gratification or feeling good because your team wins...it's much bigger than that...it's about your relationship with others and with the world in the context of your own life.
