Yes, but McFadden wasn't running all over people when he was calling plays. He came into Arkansas with four of the kids he coached in high school in 2006. There were a lot that said he got the job because of the "Springdale Five," as that group was called. After getting slaughtered by USC in the first game of '06 and looking bad against a mid-major in game two Houston Nutt removed his play calling duties and went back to a run based offense. That clash with Nutt is what led to Malzahn to Tulsa in '07.
