I will be updating this list as the year goes along. Jerico Nelson received his offer in the mail yesterday.
I dont think LA is down that much. I expect a few guys to jump in the rankings and/or recieve five stars next season.
Does anyone know if his offer is for a RB, DB, Ath.? Miami was recruiting him as a S, but after camp they offered the Ath. position. (That makes me think he wants to play RB instead of S and they realized that...the offer as an Ath. gives them leeway to say you'll have a shot, and then move him if they get another good RB) I don't know what UF has offered, but I'm assuming it is an RB position also considering how vocal Myers has been about his running game. Our offer is for S. USCVBALL, your offer, if there is one, will be for...? ---- Sidenote: With the exception of USC, Tyler Edwards has listed those 4 schools as his favorites also.
-Brown has a VERY good chance at moving up to a 5* by NSD. The kid has been dominating at camps and Rivals pays A LOT of attention to that. -Do not be surprised if Thomas and/or Jefferson get moved up to 4* status. -Odds are Clay Spencer will eventually move down to a 3*, but at the same time Lonergan will move up to a 4. -There is still a chance that DeAngelo Benton stays at Bastrop next year and then resigns with LSU as part of the '08 class. Of course, there is also a chance (small one) that he does well enough in summer school to qualify and comes in as part of the '07 class as planned.
My bad. In an interview with Jerico he mentioned he was expecting to hear from USC with an offer. I want to say I found the article on Scout. May have been Rivals...but, gut says Scout.
No offer as of yet, but evidently USC is looking at him pretty strong. http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=14&p=2&c=655237
I've put in a question to our recruiting wizard and I'll find out. OTOH, this bit of info probably doesn't help Jericho's case. Danville (CA.) Monte Vista HS athlete Drew McAllister just received an offer from USC last week, but it did not take him long to make a decision. McAllister, who had previously narrowed his list of schools to Cal and USC, verbally committed to the Trojans last night. He's committed as an Athlete but he's much like Jericho....RB/Safety/Athlete.
