LSU @ Mississippi State official game thread

We're bad man. We're very young but very easy to defend on offense and lack experience, depth and leadership on defense. I don't see a difference on offense. Teams will load the box knowing we don't have the passing game to counter it. Gonna be long year.

Is this the cost of cleaning house, getting rid of shitty attitudes, and starting over? Hope this is all part of the plan. If we keep sucking we'll sink back into mediocrity.

 

Grimes can get lost imo. If you think Etling gets an F then you really dont know anything about football and we no longer need to have any further discussion

 

I wouldn't give Etling an F. He did the best he could do under the circumstances.
He did throw a couple of bad passes but you can't blame him when a receiver drops a ball thrown right in his hands. Even Chark dropped one tonight

 

Is he? O's been crowing about all of the freshmen he's been playing. Between graduation, the draft, and dismissals/transfers, there are fewer and fewer of Miles' players on this team. That's a bit of a hyperbole, but since everyone was fond of saying that MIles won his NC with Saban's players, and since Saban won a NC in his 3nd year at Bama with Shula's players, having another coach's players isn't necessarily a liability.

 

I think they let that get in their heads even when they were no where near the line or in a position to stop run. Poor discipline I would say. Point is, everyone contributed to that abortion.

 

Just frustrated, but not as high on his performance as you are.

 

But haven't we been in mediocrity? Reminds me of 2008 after dropping Periloux.

 

What did he do wrong? Hit WR in the facemask?
