Go play in the street dumb ass. No one ever said throw it every down. 47-14. All we are saying is throw it on first down more than twice in a game, don't wait until it's an obvious passing down to pass it. 14 throws. 14. 14 fucking passes. 9 completions for 70 something yards, 9 penalties for 95 yards. We had more penalty yards than passing yards and Harris has done nothing to deserve the cuffs. There is no creativity, no deception, and it's a disservice to this group of young men to hand your opposition a blueprint for every play you run, it's going to bite LSU in the ass, even though you are too stupid to realize it.
After rewatching the game... (I work nights so I gotta be up all night) Brandon made some poor decisions in the zone read where he most definitely should have kept the ball, and he took some deep shots instead of just checking down to the running back. And if you get the chance… Look at that great pass to Dural on the slant for the 1st down… Then look at Dupre uncovered 10 yards behind everyone on the field. The guy guarding him jumped DeSean Smith’s route and Dupre would have walked in from the 35. Not a huge deal as we do go down the field and score, but its something. The sideline pass in the 3rd to Smith probably is completed if Harris doesn’t get hit during the throw With all that being said, Harris did pretty damn well. I think they playcalling was fine through 3 quarters and in the 4th was a little conservative, tho I think some of that was on Harris checking at the line. I mean if you see a 6 man box on 3rd and long and you have LF7 in the back, you hand that shit off. Moo State just balled out on those plays. But honestly… we had a small lead on the road and State was picking up steam on offense. So we tried to slow the game down. But lets be real here, 3 less penalties and refs that could see and this game is a blowout.
Read my post again. If moving your lips while you do helps you to better understand it, go right ahead.
Wow. The read option. The skinny toss. The inside handoff out of the I. After the first quarter, these 3 plays made up about 85 percent of our offense last night. It was as obvious as the cowbells are obnoxious.
