And thats what the media can't seem to do. I get it. They listen to Miles say for 5 years our Offense would change. Now they are hearing Oeaux say it. I get it. Why should they believe him? The problem is the media, outside of a few, hasn't taken the time to watch our games. MSU is the first team we will face that will stack the box.
The "want" for LSU to lose this game is strong. Especially by the rest of the SEC. They sleep better knowing that LSU isn't a threat. But that's changed and they hate it. Salt and Shade everywhere I look. The media even had me worried before I started looking at it more practically. Also, now that Kirk and ESPN lit up the internet with upset talk, LSU will come out even stronger now.
I sure hope we do. Top to bottom we have better players and coaching*. Oeaux has shown nothing but positives in his short time. If we aren't prepared for this game, he isn't ready to be our coach.
Dan Mullen is a good coach. Hell, he must be to have gotten enough good players to sign with StarkVegas to have been Number 1 for several weeks. You remember that, when Ole Miss was ranked #2 and the governor proclaimed it the greatest day in the history of Mississippi.
I give the bulk (if not all) of that credit to Dak though. I'll agree that Mullen does a great job of game planning to his QB's strengths though. I just feel like he lacks toughness.
I mean, if Canada can draw up plays to beat Clemson with Pitt players, we should be ok with LSU players vs State.
DING DING DING DING DING DING! WE HAVE A WINNER! Too bad you didn't finish first, Les, but we have some lovely parting gifts for you.
