Perspective. 2005 - #5 2006 - #3 2007 - #1 2008 - NR 2009 - #8 (at this point) Going back further, had it not been for that horrible Iowa loss in the bowl game, LSU would have been ranked in the top 6 BCS for 5 straight seasons (2003-2007). Take last season, for example. With any sort of defense, we'd have likely won the UGA and Arkansas games, and could've pulled out the Bama game, too. Then, it would've been a great season, pick sixes and all...
I think it all hinges on the Ole Miss game. LSU has to come out with some real fire. We have to execute in all aspects. The talent is there, its to put it all together. If we lose here, I think there is a good chance things will implode and we lose to Arkansas as well.
