I'm certainly following the team closely right now. I must say I'm surprised how it seems that the light has kind of gone off since they played Rhode Island. I fully expected this team to continue to grow from the way they looked early this season. Hopefully we'll see them grow quickly through the SEC schedule.
Pretty exciting game against Ole Miss and the bad guy Marshall Henderson. LSU missing alot of free throws, Henderson is pretty entertaining. 67-65 LSU 1:32 left
Was 69-69 in OT and Ole Miss on a 7 point run with Henderson nailing a 3 off a tip after a foul shot on the plus one free throw by an ole miss big guy. 76-69 Ole Miss 2:35
Actually was 69-65 LSU in regulation. They need to close those games out. That's the problem we had with Brady. He would tease us with these competitive games but they lost 2 out of every three that came down to the wire.
Painful loss yesterday. They almost didn't close out South Carolina and failed to close out Ole Miss. My excitement for this team this season is certainly tempered at this point. I don't know what to make of the team right now, but they looked so much better at the beginning of the season.
Yeah, the loss last night hurt bad. Once again, my expectations for LSU basketball were way too high. Just find a way to get in the dance and I'll be happy. Only a month ago, I believed this team would easily make it.
While I agree today, I felt that it would easily be an NCAA tourney team after they played fairly well in Orlando (two quality wins and should have beat Memphis) without Martin at full speed. Everyone had hyped Martin as being our best player this year and a likely one and done. He's good but not as advertised.
