So, nothing on the 92-90 LSU UMass nailbiter? http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticl...166&DB_LANG=C&ATCLID=209305672&DB_OEM_ID=5200 So, LSU loses a close one against a good UMass team on the road. UMass was playing its second game of the season after beating Boston College. I would have loved the win, but I was happy that the game was competitive and close after LSU fell behind. Jarrell Martin gets hurt early (bad). But, some highlights are Jordan Mickey playing beyond his freshman status, good all-around game from Andre Stringer, and strong game from JOB (although he could have played a little bit better). I'm not sure about starting Quarterman over Hickey, unless Jones thinks that Hickey adds something off the bench. In any case, I think as the team matures this season, there should be a lot of optimism. Clean up some of the sloppiness you'd expect at the beginning of the season, and this team is pretty athletic and much longer than last year.
