Dude, that's a generic logo teams have used for decades. There is nothing unique to LSU about that logo.

I still like it, in fact I have that tattoed on my back, where talking shoulder to shoulder. Chicks aren't going to be able to keep their hands off me playa.

:tigereye: looks best on the field.
:tigerhead looks best on the helmets
ldskule: I don't really like as much.
The one on my avatar is my favorite and I would use that.
The current one doesn't look that bad. The problem is all of the others have yellow/purple colors, and that one is yellow black. I would try to redesign it to be yellow/purple.

 

If it makes you feel any better, I don't like this one:

 

ldskule: and :tigerhead are generic logo's that LSU cannot copyright and gain royalties from. That's why they were dropped. Never happen in a thousand years.

:tigereye: is great on the field at 30 yards wide, but it looks bad when reproduced small.

The new Tigerhead over the LSU is the best. The problem with Toonces was the ridiculously tiny arms and the silly hurricane in the background. The head alone is a pretty good logo when used with the LSU font.
