I would only draft Lafell and I would have him projected in the top 20 and should be no worse than the 2nd WR chosen.

He is easily the most NFL ready receiver out there. A couple of others may have more upside potentially and thus be selected before him. GMs and head coaches never learn.

MAYBE Lafell in the late first round. But I don't think Black and Jones have shown enough to be there.

The Tiger I am most interested in seeing where he will go is Alem. My guess is undrafted.

I think LaFell is the only one Id draft in the first. His biggest downfall is his consistency. LaFell tends to get the drops too often. Had he not gotten the drops this year he would have been a sure fire first rounder. Theres some talented underclassmen coming out like Bryant and Benn, so LaFell may drop. I think he makes it though because teams love to go for WRs and LaFell is NFL ready.

Jones has All Pro potential, but then again he hasnt shown much. I think he has been a big disappointment overall. His tackling is poor, as is his coverage. Jones will make the highlight reel hits and plays though so people see that. NFL scouts get enamored with workout warriors. So Jones may get in the first round based on work outs. If he puts his head to it he could be a great one. Based on production though I wouldnt draft him until the second, maybe third. I dont see him going further than the lower third because of his tremendous potential.

Ciron Black was definite early to mid first rounder. His Sr season didnt go so well so he will drop to the second. Being a left tackle, you never know though. I say second though.

Trindon won't get drafted... he will be snatched up very quickly as a UFA though. Someone will get him into camp to see if he can be a returner...

I think Ciron Black and Brandon Lafell are 1st rounders. I'm not too familiar with the LSU senior class, but I know those 2 are great players.

I'll take Lafell for 1 Alex. Thats the only one I see but for our Tigers, sure hope I'm wrong. These young men work hard, sacrifice tons and provide many of us with a welcome release and much enjoyment. I wish all of them the best of luck in this year's draft :thumb:

Nope. LaFell still has a shot to sneak in, but no team is gonna draft Ciron as a left tackle. He got abused during the Senior Bowl week.

The only word to describe this thread is "delusional".
