Rueben Randle, Josh Downs, Russell Shepard, Hasan Lipscomb, Michael Ford...we have some big name recruits on campus this weekend. Anyone know what all goes on for "Jr. Day?" vball, Terry, Deceks, and any other of our members of other fanbases, I'd be interested in hearing what USC, Bama, Auburn, do also.
I believe that the recruits are divided into groups a get a tour of the campus, football facilities etc. I also believe the are going to the LSU Ole Miss game but they don't do drills or anything like that I think it's just to check us out correct me if i'm wrong
also mingo says we now are his favorite weren't we already:huh: http://lsu.rivals.com/barrier_noentry.asp?sid=&script=content.asp&cid=777967&fid=&tid=&mid=&rid=
Nope. Kinda pizzed me off, and I understand kids leave and go OOS, they just not supposed to do that when they're from Louisiana. Here's what he said: "After this camp, I can definitely say that LSU has shot to the type of my list." Which doesn't mean a lot to me, assuming we were his first visit, but maybe I'm wrong.
Jr Day is a recruiting tool for all schools, but it appears that this year it was more focused on actually getting commitments for LSU than in years past.
I kinda have the feeling that if LSU offers to a player he is told it may not be acceptable forever... Kinda like "take it while you can" thing.. Whatcha think?? I'm sure there are exceptions for the cream of the crop..
