Yep I figured it was good but did I bet on it. No. There's a difference in pretend and reality. Next time you have one of these guaranteed winners I'll tale your action if needed. I would lean with Bama minus 12 or whatever it's going to be. At least if it's close to that.
The Giant difference in this scenario is that LSU has actually won championships while Ole Miss has not.
Since da bear died LSU/BAMA has been a pretty even series with the road team winning more than the home team. So far Miles has done pretty well vs Saban. We have battled them for the west title every year but this one. Hopefully we can dim Bama's championship hopes next weekend, so I guess that is somewhat similar to what the original post was about.
It's simple. To win, we must do two things: Pressure GayJ, and protect Mett. GayJ is awful under pressure. Folds like a cheap lawn chair. Mett did great against bama's pressure last year. Made several throws with a hit coming. But, we can't rely on that. He's got to be given time to go through his reads. If he can be successful against the secondaries of TCU and Florida, then he certainly can against bama. We just have to figure out a way to get to their QB.
We need to blitz Eugene every play (he can't cover worth a shit, anyway--might as well have him head hunt the QB.)
No one can cover for 5 seconds which is our dlines fault. May as well blitz Collins and Eugene. No sense in even hoping on 3rd down. Either sack him or they score on first down. These 3rd down conversions are a slow painful fn death every game. It's Lou tepperish.
