arenas always plays his nuts off against us. one of my favorite players but cant wait to see his ass leave. he will be blitzing from the edge half the game i assume.
Thats true, but we have to recognize that blitz, perfect time for some big plays on offense if Arenas comes of the edge alot. Shepard is the key to this game, thats my belief.
the master of disguise will be at work this game. ill go with the offensive line and how they recognize this as the difference.
I guessed I overlook the importance of the O-line play this game. The middle of that line will have to play very well and shut down that fat tub of lard Cody.
fixed. Honestly, the addition of that frosh FB (Stampley?) to the lineup has really helped our offense more than anything else...both in run-blocking and in pass protection. He's MILES ahead of Dugas and we'll continue to feel his impact as the season goes. It was nice to see consistent bootlegs and rollouts from JJ Saturday. I think that may be the plan against Bama...roll away from Arenas. I've always thought that was the best way to use a moblie QB, anyway...if there aren't receivers open there is usually a little running room. If there is neither, you're outside the pocket so throwing it away is A-okay!
i know ive taken cheap shots at that fat dude but he cant be blocked one on one. always requires 2 people. hes almost as big as jamarcus. but you're right with shepard. we cant really run-block. this isnt going to change. misdirection and a quick passing game is a must.
I believe you're both talking about Thomas Parsons, who was wearing #48 instead of his usual #73. He is a rough young'un. He really cleared some area when he came in the game, both for Scott and especially for Ridley on his drive.
The good thing about Cody is he also can't be in more than two plays in a row, for fear of going into cardiac arrest...
Oh, come one...this is simply an embellishment. Everyone knows he cut weight this year to under a metric ton...
