Yep. And this adversity can often fuel a team, giving them an almost rabid energy and desire to go out and annihilate. Let's hope this motivated team wants to unleash its energy and pent-up frustrations onto the frickin' Barners!!!!!:thumb:
I agree that, although we're disappointed, SOME fans take it too far. But all that twittering from the players is ridiculous. The "You're either for us or against us" crap is getting old. We cheer when they do well...on or off the field. When they screw up, ESPECIALLY off the field, they need to expect some backlash from the same ones cheering them on every Saturday. "We all we got". Not true at all. Come Saturday, they'll have 90K+ screaming like banshees in their favor. They seem to forget that. The only ones responsible for this is them. Quit doing stupid things, and they won't have anything to worry about.
what a crock. we are fans, we are not part of the team/family. i am very glad to see that the players are sticking together. but it doesnt matter what fans say/think outside of the stadium.
Just after Shady'sgate, I'd never seen a team that was more focused on playing for each other. When J.J. came back, the word I got from my place as a fly on the wall is that everyone was glad that he was back and welcomed the extra threat he brought. The thing that impresses me secondmost about this team is its unity. The thing that impresses me most is the depth, and that projects well into the future. For the next two or three years only the players themselves can screw this up, the mojo is there. I hope that the players realize what an opportunity they have and that they seize it.
They'd better act like that. They saw what happened to that Marine. It's scary. Almost like a gangsta mentality setting in.
