I cannot think of a single championship game, in any sport, that LSU has ever lost. Of course, I'm only a fair deuce-deuce- surely some of the more wizened Tigers out there can come up with a championship game we've lost?

There are 6 in baseball, the 2 in football, (I am not counting 1958 because it was not really a championship game, it was a Sugarbowl). Could someone help me with the other 2?

In men's sports the NCAA site shows LSU with the following NC's:

6 baseball (they have not updated this yet)
    1 boxing
    4 golf
    6 track

Of course they do not sanction the BCS, so they do not show the football NC's.

Our women have 25 in track!

Per wike this gives us the 5th most per any school!

    Geaux Tigers!

I couldn't find any reference to it in a google search but I have seen it mentioned several times in the Advocate over the years that in 1934 LSU beat Pittsburgh for a mythical national championship in basketball before there were the NCAA playoffs.

If anybody can find any info about this please post it
