i mean i hate to pile on jones because it seems everyone just hates on our coaches but he is pretty damn bad. no interior d at all. no perimeter d. no crashing the goals. almost no set plays out of a timeout. fouling with a second on the shot clock. without hornsby being on fire his first game back they would have been obliterated. he had 32. simmons fouled out but never goes to the rack with the ball. only had 13 pts. 105-98 final. we lose. are now 4-4 NIT bound. would have to win 12 or more in the sec. Most likely will have to win the sec trny. we have good recruiters in the 2 major sports with very little coaching. can we get both.
That was just pathetic? I just watched 2 pathetic games. The Broncos followed by the Tigers! I'm already wondering if their basketball season is over. A lot of freshman but no one on this team knows how to play a lick of defense.
Wow, I really like Jones and thought he was going to be a great hire for LSU, but he's horrible. Calipari takes freshmen like this and wins championships, JJ can't beat lower level teams.
as long as Jones is recruiting well, I assume he stays on.....like the Brady era year after year of mediocrity...we let that dude stay on for about 7-8 years too long
brady was the best coach we had in how many years. sad i know. id rather him coach with jones sitting as an assistant. he could be like browns abernathy. or sitting next to anyone for that matter.
