Yes, so... There are three schools like that with Purdue. Super Bowl winning quarterbacks is a Notre Dame and Stanford bragging point with Purdue right there with them. Michigan is barking at Purdue's heels I believe.
Hmm let's see, does Michigan get a check mark each time Brady wins it? If so then yes. Otherwise who else is there?
I was thinking about starting the Super Bowl as the QB and which college you attended. I Notre Dame up there due to Montana's four and then there's Theisman as well. Nothing to do with wins. Starts. I imagine Russell Wilson was Wisconsin's first. Florida never has had a QB start in the NFL.
This should help.... BREAKING: LSU lands QB transfer Shea Dixon - 37 minutes ago LSU has received signed scholarship papers from Purdue transfer quarterback Danny Etling, a source confirmed with the Geaux247 staff on Monday. The scholarship papers came across on Monday afternoon, the source confirmed. Etling, who will have to sit out the 2015 season, is from Terre Haute, Ind., and he attended same high school that LSU offensive coordinator Cam Cameron attended. He makes the move from Purdue after playing in 13 games for the Boilermakers, completing 238-of-429 passes for 2,490 yards, 16 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He signed with Purdue as part of the 2013 class, ranked as the No. 17 pro-style quarterback in the country and a Top 300 prospect. He also was picked as an Elite 11 participant. He will have to sit out this fall, but then has two more years of eligibility remaining. This gives LSU four scholarship quarterbacks on the depth chart this fall, including Brandon Harris, Anthony Jennings and Justin McMillan.
Not sure how much it helps since LSU needs immediate help at QB and he has to sit a year. However it certainly doesn't hurt. I see where rivals had him as a 4 star and 9th best QB coming out of high school so he should have talent.
