Its going to be a hard battle. Silver lining early is that AU doesn't seem to have a quality run game to go with their passing. Washington was not known for their defensive front 7 hand held them in check and hurried Stidham a number of times. Washington had 2 sacks, 3 TFL and Stidham fumbled once. Both teams seem to have a week Oline and strong Dline. Looks like its going to be who can establish the run and hold field position.
Stidham isn’t very mobile. He won’t be able to evade like Rosier did last night. I see 5+ sacks in that game. Remember when they played Clemson early last year? Well, we are going to have to commit to double teams or the heavy set formations. However, we showed we will throw out of that. If we can not have a false start like we did last night every time we tried.
It’s just 1 game but Auburns secondary looked suspect. Our WR’s have 2 weeks to get their shit together! I think Chase and Jefferson are going to have big years. Giles and Marshall need to get involved too. Along with Sullivan, Anderson and Dillion. Work Foster in too. It’s going to be tough to run on them. We will have to work our quick passing game and let our athletes make plays in space and I think Burrow is the right guy to read the defense pre snap and make adjustments.

Beating #8 then beating #6 or better in AU will get us well inside the Top 10 for the gauntlet of FL / MSU / GA / AL ... Losing a game when you’re ranked #8 in the Top 10 is a lot less ground to make up later than losing a game when you lose a game when you’re ranked in the Top 25 ...
