Being reported on fbrumormill and footballscoop. Ties to East Texas and LA. FootballScoop - The Scoop
and would he coach just wr's, or is there any chance he would take over ensminger's duties as te coach also, freeing up another offensive coaching spot? i do like the texas and louisiana ties for recruiting.
Hmm...I could be wrong but the raiders weren't that good this year right? (too lazy to look at stats)
his bio: Oakland Raiders: Adam Henry --he coached Pro Bowl TE Zach Miller as Raiders TE coach, and Miller led the Raiders in receiving in two of the three years Henry coached TEs --he's from McNeese State in Lake Charles -- first as an all-conference WR in the early 90's, then he coached there for 10 years as WR coach, offensive coordinator, and asst head coach (he coached Jermaine Martin, the all-time leading receiver in McNeese history). so that's a whole decade of experience recruiting Louisiana and east Texas (he's from Beaumont, TX) --NFL experience: spent a few years with the Saints as a player (training camp, preseason, practice squad), served a coaching internship with Cleveland Browns, and has been with the Raiders since 2007 here are some pics of him: Image of Sport :: Adam Henry
Hope he is brushing up on his knowledge of the bubble screen. Edit--JK. Sorry if this came out too negative.
The Golden Triangle (Beaumont/Port Arthur/Orange) in SE Texas used to be a hotbed for recruiting football talent. Will be interesting to see if we start getting highly recruited players from that area.
