He had well over a year homie. Chavis split because he knew then they wanted to fire Miles and he didn't want to get caught in the sinkhole. I am all about hiring O to keep the stables in a winning position for the next guy (this is the hire I believe was made) but for christs sake, at this pace it will take 10 years to find the right guy for this here head football coaching job. Alleva should be dead by then or moved on because he won't last much longer in the region with the show he is towing.
This is why I don't think LSU will ever win another championship as long as I live. We have an AD that talks a big game, puts out letters to the fan base, pokes his chest out, but is in fact a gigantic pussy. Other universities do whatever it takes to get their guy, LSU settles. I hope I'm wrong about O, I love the guy, he reminds me of my favorite uncle, but I just don't think he is a guy that can get us the hardware.
