We're all on board for LSU. I'm on the Eaux train, but if he makes some questionable hires and/or disappoints in recruiting, I'm going to have some serious doubts. On the other hand, if he backs into the Sugar Bowl he deserves a lot of credit for putting us in position to capitalize; this is a couple steps down from competing for NCs, but pretty damn good for the situation he walked into.

no it's a football recruiting thing. we just told the 5* recruit we'd rather settle for the 2* with zero offers from anyone else that would have happily walked on 2 months from now, because he wants to be here. we did that without even letting any 3 or 4 * guys make an official visit.

I think we genuinely believed that Fisher and Herman had outpriced themselves, Herman late in the game when Texas came open, and that Eaux with good assistants was better than an up & comer and whole new staff.
