The two guys we wanted demanded Saban money with long term contracts and high buyouts. If they flop we would have been stuck with them, at least now we have an out a couple years down the road if things go south. I would have wanted a younger guy, but not at that price. Those long contracts and high buyouts could be worse than the NCAA giving you sanctions as far as setting a program back. Look at what 10 years of Les playing with our offense got us.
