On how LSU has played since Ed Orgeron became interim coach: "As other coaches have said, Ed has done a great job. They've played great in their close games, even in their losses. "That's a credit to Ed that they've bounced back every one of those times (that LSU lost). They continue to play hard, whether they've won or been close. Some of those games could have gone either way. The big stat is they've given up 11 touchdowns in 10 games. That's great defense. It not only tells you they are playing hard, they are executing. You can see the energy level on tape."

Now just think what Gundy could do when he's not recruiting the kids that OU, TAMU and UT decided to not take? I don't understand how the team loses focus like that. His entire mantra has been "energy + focus" since he toomk the Interim job. This and the fact that he allowed LF7 to drew out when he was obviously injured to a point that playing not only hurts the team, but the player as wll tell me that he's not ready for this job.
