going cheap is what got us Dinardo. a guy with a losing record in the SEC prior to being hired by LSU. fun to watch, but not championship caliber football when he had solid coordinators. and then those coordinators left......how'd that go for us?
I bow down to your wisdom. O would probably stay for 2 mil and give rest to the staff and a savvy OC until he proved himself. He cherishes this job the others are bargarning or playing us.
ok, against actual teams worth a fuck, O's teams turn in their worst performances of the year (his words, not mine) and lose. this year and in 2013 for USC. how often do you think we're gonna face 3 conference opponents with defenses ranked in the bottom 15 of the country?
If you break the bank and dont get shit how does that make you look? Look what notre dame has going right now, or what they did with fat charlie. We need to be smart here not throw 7 mil for a coach like fisher. All I'm saying is the only 2 people out there right now that are worth 7 mil are $aban and meyer (god it pains me to say that), fisher isn't one of these guys IMO.
How is Herman ( loss to Navy and SMU) or Jimbo (loss to N Carolina Louisville put 60 on em has 3 losses) gonna face the SEC west and the SEC in general?
i can't see the future, but i'm a whole lot more confident in putting money on guys who have actually accomplished something in their careers and have beat top tier teams on multiple occasions than i am a guy who hasn't even done it once, let alone consistently.
