people see the names on the helmets and think we're playing the same teams that smoked us last year. in 2015, both Ole Miss and Arky had defenses in the top 20 in the country. Completely overwhelmed our line and we couldn't run for shit. in 2016, both defenses aren't just bad, they're freaking horrendous. our line dominated them just like everyone else's line dominated them. makes the entire team look better and masked deficiencies that teams with a pulse use to beat you. it's almost exactly what LSU did last year against: Syracuse : 78th against the run Auburn: 80th against the run South Carolina: 110th against the run Texas Tech: 127th against the run when playing those level defenses, LSU was riding high into the final 4 and Fournette was the runaway leader in the Heisman race.
