No LSU commitments are on this list. Bama has 9, Fla St 6, Florida 5, Georgia 4, S.Carolina 2, A&M 2, Auburn 1, Tennessee 1, and Ole Miss 1. Very troubling. Link attached Dorial Green-Beckham leads Rivals' Top 100 Class of 2012 recruits - More Sports - SI.com
Do not put a whole lot of stock in rivals, rivals has their favorite programs they boast on and prop up their players.....and LSU is FAR from one of them.
LSU has 2 in the ESPN 100, and 4 in the ESPN 150 (Alexander, Davis, Phillips, Feist) LSU has 4 in the 247 Sports Top 165 (Hawkins, Louis, Alexander, Davis) LSU has 3 in the Scout Top125 (Hunter, Thomas, Davis), and Raymond is #177 LSU had 5 at the Under Armour and US Army All American games (Johnson, Ferguson, Feist, Alexander, Davis)
You should follow recruiting a little more. TM7 went to three camps over the summer after his Jr. year, only one team offered him. That would be LSU, guess who didn't? Team needs is one thing I look at, I also get info from high school and college coaches. Then there are times I will make a few games to see a player. LSU does a better job than most on talent evaluation. Remember in the 2010 class 10 players played the first year, same with last years class, 10 players. We still have a young team, follow the team, you'll learn more than following the recruiting services. Too many times these services look at height, speed, size, etc. You can play football or you can't, its that simple. Don't feel bad, many times NFL teams do the same thing.
 You might be on to something there. Many times with players, the staff will see the player that can be. Can he add weight, will he lose speed, too many things a good staff can see. Does he fit into our system? Mo came to LSU as a Ath/QB/WR, look how he finished. A top 5 pick in the NFL Draft after his Jr. year.
