Well none of these guys committed yet so I think we worry about that when the time comes.

I would think that it's worth it cause they will be better for the extra year learning the system and playing at the next level. :)

Every spring a veteran player or two flunks out, another will transfer, and another will drop football beacuse of injuries. Every recruting class will have 2 or 3 players who don't make core grades or ACT scores. There is always attrition and the smart coach recruits that way.

There will always be a last-minute defection from the commit list that opens up a slot. Or Les may withdraw an offer from a committment because of grades. A player or 2 will take a gray shirt.

Bottom line--all scholarships are one year offers. If he has to, Les can take away a scholarship from a walk-on or a scholarship athlete who is underperforming. By August Les Miles will have the 85 players on scholarship that he wants.

Well, Barksdale is already enrolled, so his scholly doesn't count towards this year's class--in a sense, he's taken JaMarcus' spot.

Doesn't look like Bajoie will qualify and will be placed--so that's once less counting towards this year's number.

Benton isn't far off, right? I think he makes it.

I'm sure a few of these guys would be willing to accept an academic scholly (if avail.) or accept a greyshirt.
