Have ya'll forgotten Hurts can't throw 15 yards, so we can put 8-9 in the box and White can have a field day, injured players are just now getting healthy. Suspended players are trickling back. This Offensive line will be at full strength for the first time all year. Last year Alabama only scored because a holding call was missed or hurts was gonna be sacked from behind on a 3rd and forever. An Inadvertant whistle took away an LSU Touchdown on a 90+ yard fumble return. You may not like it, but LSU should have won last year 7-0. Ed OUTCOACHED nicky last year. Ed should have been undefeated last year in an interim stint. Against UF Guice hit the wrong hole on 4th and goal or he walks in. You can not like it all you want but Ed earned the job. He outcoached everyone he played last year. Troy and Miss State were inexcusable. Nick Saban also lost to UAB in his first season at LSU and started 3-3 with a NFL laden roster. LSU is gonna beat Alabama whether you like it or not 17-3.
I dont disagree with what you are saying but we are not as good as we were last year for many reasons and Bama is better than they were last year. It may be a close game but we will not win this game. It will be close or a complete blow out nothing in between. I truly hope I am wrong there would be nothing than beating the gumps in their own stadium.
I like the enthusiasm, and agree about stacking the box on Hurts. How ironic would that be? I also agree with Caca that they are even better this year and we are not as good as last year. Still, we have a punchers chance. Would be nice to win at their place. Would like to see the same 10-0 score turned around.
We may be healthier on the DL but we are still a bit banged up and thin. I think they will run, run and run some more wearing us out and using the clock. We need turnovers and big plays to stay with them.
