Nice but seems like we get a lot of press anyway. Beginning to get one of those "teams you love to hate' monikers from other fans.
Everyone here is a pac-10 homer, but I must tell you most Knowledgeable fans realize how tough we are and really respect LSU. I guess that respect could be because we beat the local team (U of A) 100 to 10 in our last two meetings. The people that saw us here in Tucson in 2003 compared to USC in 2003 realize we were the best team. Now USC fans are a whole different story.
Kinda along these lines... Did anyone else watch the Greta segment on Fox last night when she was interviewing friends of Palin up in Alaska? She was talking to this big burly guy next to a hockey (rink?)...He was sporting a nice camouflaged LSU cap. The letters were purple and stood out nice on TV. She talked to the guy for about ten minutes. I just thought it was neat seeing LSU promoted way up in Alaska like that. I was hoping she would ask the guy why he was sporting a LSU cap...she never did..oh well. :lsup:
