LSU gets fairly soft landing down to #8 in the polls

Lsu should be around 12-15 along with UGA simply by default. Who else is really good outside the conference. ESPN owning the sec rights surely has shown an upswing in the conference rankings; not simply from acquiring the crystal.

 

And rightly so. What conference could put on the national fireworks the SEC demonstrated yesterday, between their unbeaten? Especially with Alabama watching at home. W Virginia vs Texas as close as it got and I don't know anyone who was getting all worked up about WV invincibility after that one.

 

And USC...lost to Stanford

And Oklahoma...lost to K State

And Ohio State..on probation, can't be ranked in Coaches

And Texas...lost to WV


Hell, so many top tier teams have lost that freaking Oregon State is #10 in the AP

 

LSU ranked ahead of every one loss team in America. Someone loves you.

 

We could be unranked by Oct 21st. I'm not sure any past stats CAN apply to this team for many reasons, some they control, many they do not (injuries/suspensions).
I really hope I am VERY WRONG! The next two teams have much better Qb's IMO, than what we just played and will present even more problems for a defense quickly running out depth.

 

Oh I agree. Like I said who is actually better. It's just funny not haha funny that it coincides with the worldwide leaders financial interests. Not because it's deserved so to speak. But I am thankful I can turn on almost any espn channel and see an sec game without having to buy towson state on gameplan. And no longer have to endure those three Dave's on jefferson pilot. I am still scarred from the years of that mess. The only similarly boring broadcast is when they stick that female on their espn2 game. Is that jackie MacMullan? If so I like her opinions as a writer just not in the booth.

 

If we can not turn turn overs in to points especially from the 7 we won't be in the Top 25 by the Bama game, this is going to be a long season. The 3rd down conversion rate is utterly embarassing

 

Only way LSU wins on Nov 3rd is if Bama beats themselves. 0.001% Chance LSU wins that game. LOL

But, that is correct.

Lets get crazy.

It would be an LSU fans luck, to beat Bama, get to the SEC championship game, lose to an undefeated Gators team and since LSU loses, Bama jumps them, BCS polls finish with UF#1 and BAMA #2 and LSU watches BAMA beat UF in Natinal Championship Game!

 

As of now, anyway.
