Yes, we need to score points. I had a sick feeling when Mingo recovered that fumble on the 7 yesterday. The sick feeling was that we wouldn't score a TD. Again, we got away from our strength--pounding the ball. Ware picked up 4 yards on 1st down, then we attempted to throw twice and kicked a FG. The 4 extra points there would've been huge in yesterday's game.

That was a nice pick up and we had the momentum. When I seen Mett rolling out I knew we wouldnt score. Thats the problem, again, the play calling. When we should run they try a pass. One thats not at all suited to our current QB. Mett has not done well when rolling out, throwing on the run.

I was expecting to be dropped to 12-14. I think so many teams losing helped out. Plus being in the SEC and our reputation helped. As well as losing a close game to an improving UF team.

Im not feeling good about the S Carolina game. LSU cant block. We also cant kill ourselves with penalties. This is a GREAT DL. Clowney is the real deal. They have good DBs. We must block like never before this year. The WRs cant drop passes and Mett must throw the damn ball away. The coaches have to instill focus this week. We also need a great gameplan to keep them off balance.

    Hope is not lost.

Reality is we will struggle in all games, but there is always that chance people step up.

Alert the President, I agree with you. I think LSU plays spoiler and upsets SC next weekend.

Not only clowney but that dude Davis is almost as dominant. Bad bad formula for a lost oline. Luckily we are pissed and they are kinda feeling good about themselves.

How are we still in the top 10. Better take a screeenshot so we remember why preseason rankings area meaningless besides creating false hope to fanbases and putting notre dame in Bcs bowls.

My guess is on us staying in the top 10,

is a lot of Love and Hype on UF, LSU few plays away from being 6-0
We were preseason #1, hard to kick out of top 10 after just one loss in the swamp to top 5 team
Keep us ranked high for better ratings on the SC and Bama game

In my heart: We are just a few corrections away from being a relevant contender again

Georgia at #12 is interesting too. When it's in conference against teams with high expectations, it's reasonable. I would suspect that Oregon will stay top 10 after their USC loss. Lot's of preseason love paying dividends.

Florida is not that good but they have improved and are playing like they think they are They may evolve into one but this was lsus game to lose. And that we did. We aren't beating Bama until we learn to score points. They have the best offense yet under Saban. Won't be any 9-6 games. Also they dominated us up front against a better team on both sides in new Orleans. They likely will again against this lost bunch. We have at least 2 more losses. I see no way around it. Possibly more.

Pretty much sums up why LSU can still clutch to a very real glimmer of hope. You didn't lose to a west team. Nov.3rd will count for two.
