and actually we didn't pull ahead until the sun set. Julio over PP at the two yard line in OT. Not much in the records that would suggest Saturday evening would be that over whelming. Me getting back to my car, uh.
still not the same, ask your coach he knows. it requires a certain level of "sauce" for LSU fans to really come out of their shells. Ask Urban also, even though he is one of the few to escape a night kickoff on saturday night with a victory. Since 1960 the night record is something like 200 something wins, 50 something losses and 3 ties.
I personally miss the evening kickoffs. It does add to the atmosphere. Right now this is the hottest rivalry in the SEC, bar none. As long as CBS get's first dibs on SEC games, good teams will be dealing with a lot of big game afternoon schedules.
i'm trying to figure out why the Florida Bama match up is more intriguing to CBS to put at night, than Bama LSU, Saban's return to Death Valley, 3 National Championships between the 2 teams in the past decade, 2 of which were won by Nicky. 2 that were won with Saban's players and 1 that was won with Shula's. (Had to throw that in there sorry tusk) If Tebow were back, ok, i get it, but i don't get this one.
Could be they just want to be the first to announce his impending retirement, just in case. May have to get big John on this one, but it seems they burn the night game with a block buster double header before Nov. Either way, Florida seems to get a lot of the invites. Maybe you guys have played Florida in the CBS evening extravaganza.
