I saw Loston in an allstar game (UA I think) and he looked like one of the star players in that game. That tells me he can do it against the guys at the next level (SEC). I though he stood out in that crowd, and that was a great crowd. I think he'll be a very good player for LSU.
Seems like we're not hearing as much out of spring practice as years past, what's up with that? Here's a nice short article, Hurst talks o-line (not much), and a bit about Ford at running back, sounds like he may be the real deal. Too early yet, but I wonder if the 5* true frosh back coming in from Ohio will help us some. Ford might push Ware to a redshirt which is very good news. Deangelo Petterson and Shep tore it up today. T-Bob broke his leg and will be out until the fall. JJ is looking really good and that has been the case all Spring. Way ahead of the others QBs at this point. Hurst is probably the most improved on the OL and Blackwell is coming into his own. Murphy is also looking really good at RB but he has had a non contact jersey on all Spring.
I would say it was firmed up before the injury but I hope T-Bob can practice in the Fall and make sure Lonergan works for it.

Someone with some good insight please tell me that Dwork..... w/e his name is will not be the starter at LG this year. If he will be, please tell me that he's at least up to 300 lbs. I'm not downing thet guy, I'm sure he works his a$$ off just like everyone else, I think he's just too light.
Of all of our offensive linemen, only 4 tackles are over 300 pounds. That's too heavy for most guards and centers to play. They have to be mobile to pull out and block on sweeps and to pick up blitzes and stunts. Dworaczyk is 6-6 and big-framed. He is plenty big enough to play the line and more weight only makes him slower for an inside lineman. He may put on some pounds if he moves to tackle, but extra weight is not a help if it isn't hard muscle. Mississippi State has played big, fat 350-pound guards for years but quick SEC defensive linemen just run around them. Dworaczyk's problems last year were from being green, but he wasn't getting pushed around out there too badly.
