"We started this practice out with a "Big Cat" drill and that is something we will do every day in pads," Miles said. http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=204902679
Looks like Alex Hurst is becoming the answer on the offensive line. LSU football: Offensive line quickly taking shape | - NOLA.com
I've got high hopes for the OL, but will Barksdale and Hurst be better at the tackles than Black and Barksdale last year and will Dworaczyk, Blackwell and Hebert be better in the middle than Dworaczyk, Hitt and Hebert last year? I'm going to have to wait and see on that one.
i don't know if anyone saw this but here is a link with the early football depth chart. TigerRag - LOVE: Early football depth chart
Few mixups on that roster... Here is what it is as of now in Spring Practice: QB Jefferson Lee Garrett RB Murphy Ridley Ford FB Allen Parsons Dugas WR Randle Toliver Shepard TE Peterson Clement LT Barksdale Faulk LG Dworaczyk Hagans C Lonergan Hebert RG Blackwell Williford RT Hurst Shaw DE Aghayere and Edwards 2nd Montgomery and Adams DT Nevis and Livingston 2nd Downs and Brockers MLB Sheppard Prater or Minter (Minter has been on sidelines with injury) OLB Baker and Francois Barrow and Duplessis (Hatcher could end up here when gets back to practice) CB Peterson and Claiborne Brooks and St. Julien S Taylor and Eugene Loston
What do you think about the linebackers outside of Sheppard? There is not alot of real size outside of him and Minter.
Depth is going to be a concern but I really like the move of Francois to OLB. Hopefully Maclin can come in a fill up the depth chart. We could also so Eric Reid come in a fill in the depth chart at OLB.
