    This is a old ranking, 1st quarter as of Aug 15,2007...before any games in 2007 were played and before LSU won the NC...2nd quarter numbers are better. But the real numbers will be 3rd and 4th quarter numbers to be accurate after the BCS games.

    Interesting, one basketball school in the top ten and not another one till #16.

    I know UNC sells a lot of basketball apparel, but to beat out football powerhouses like Bama, OU, Tenn, LSU, Florida, Auburn, and Nebraska...speaks volumes about UNC's basketball fanbase.

    I doubt that. Unless we're talking shoes (I can't imagine shoes are a big part of merchandise sales), I don't look much at whether adidas or Nike makes a hat or shirt. If it looks good, people will buy it.
