I already told you, misdirection running plays instead of running the same running plays week after week. There is no fooling, we are just trying to play power football and its not working too well this year. Otherwise I agree with you, maybe a few more screens?
We ran misdirection. A few times Do you watch the game at all? But let me ask you, the only way to get out of a power run game is a deep threat. Who is that?
LOL, Yes I watched the game I maybe I should rewatch it but I won't! I don't think we have a deep threat but we will disagree at this point because you can't run the same running plays over and over and fool a defense. Even if we had a deep threat it would be difficult to get him the ball because the offensive line has trouble holding blocks that long. Just seems like if things aren't working you got to come up with something different. It all seems the same, the repeat of the NC game last year. Nothing worked and nothing different. Who knows, maybe next week things will change, we will see. Maybe our QB inexperience is killing us but that O-Line has been killing us too.
Yes, I'm blaming all of it on Miles. We've had a lack of concentration on offense for years. Are you only noticing it now that we've lost? Your argument: Our team (at least offensively) is not performing. It isn't the head coach's fault. In fact, don't even think about blaming any of the coaches. After today I really find it difficult to criticize Mettenberger. When the coaches absolutely had no choice they let him play and he looked like a different QB. We are managing the fight out of Mettenberger, and likely our offense.
You could be right at any rate have a nice evening and hopefully the team and the staff can improve the offense for next week! Geaux Tigers!
Our OC was diagnosed last year. Studrawa was chosen to act as OC. Not impressed. I could give a pass for some of the injuries, but the play of our offense can not be explained by this. Our OL isn't doing bad, IMO. Our D isn't doing bad, IMO. Our passing game is pathetic, our opponents are keying in on our running game, and voila, here we are.
