Trust me, Miles knows whats on the line...Hes statements might say otherwise, but he knows his O is not to LSU standards...
Student Government is a powerless social club. The AD changes their deal periodically, at their discretion. It changes from time to time as the Greek system waxes and wanes in popularity. There are a lot of them now, for sure. In the hippie seventies, they were really uncool, fewer in number, and didn't even control the SGA. It was first-come-first served, when I was a student. This allowed the serious fans to get there 4 hours early, stand in line and get guaranteed seats, possibly good ones (students had some sideline seats then.) Late arrivers (who are also the early leavers) had to take what they could if any were available.
Of course he knows what's on the line...... he gets asked about his job safety all the time. How does the saying go?..."Knowing is half the battle..." ...Congratulations, you know what the problem is. Now he needs to work on the other half...FIXING IT!!! Someone else posted this. I forget who, but thanks! It's my new motto!!! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yo3uxqwTxk0]YouTube - FIX IT[/ame]
Yeah, the Greeks get twice the tickets that the other students get, and coincidentally twice as many of them leave early. Weak sauce.
So our only two options are either to not give a **** or behave like classless buffoons? Seems like we could squeeze supporting your team with class through thick and thin somewhere.
I started at LSU in 1989. I assure you I've supported LSU thru the thinnest of the thins. But back then, we weren't a threat for any national championships. We didn't have a snowball's chance in hell. Now, we are...if we could just produce SOME offense. No, that wasn't my point at all. I give a chit and STILL wouldn't boo in the stadium. I simply said the ONLY positive is it's BETTER than not giving a chit. Meaning that, as the fans boo, at least the prospects know the fans give a chit. But no, I do NOT advocate acting like classless buffoons...especially not in the stadium for the world to see/hear. If I was a recruit, and the fans were sitting on their arses offering the occasional golf clap for a good play, I wouldn't wanna play for that fanbase. If I was a recruit, and the fans were pissed off to the point they booed the product on the field, I wouldn't wanna play for that fanbase either. But of the two, I'd play for the booers first.
How do know all this about Lee. The series he was in in the game did not light up the score board. :huh:How many dorped balls does it take to open your eyes. JJ can't be both reciever and qb.:nope:
